Protein Recombinant MultiColor Marker is a molecular weight marker consisting of recombinant proteins, prestained with multiple colors. The sizes of recombinant proteins in the marker ranging from 15-150 KDa are well-defined. The proteins in the marker are colorized: blue, purple, green, red and orange. It is suitable for visualizing mobility of proteins during electrophoresis and for monitoring electrophoretic transfer onto membranes. The marker is supplied in gel loading buffer for direct loading onto SDS-PAGE without heating or adding reducing agent.
Recommend Usage:
10 uL/lane
Storage Buffer:
50 mM Tris-HCl (pH 6.8), 2 mM EDTA, 1% SDS, 50 mM DTT, 10% glycerol
Storage Instruction:
Store at -20°C (6 months at -20°C ), avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Note:
There no need to heat or add reducing agent. The apparent molecular weights of prestained proteins in each lot are confirmed by comparing their migration with those of unstained recombinant protein standards on 7.5%, 10%, 12.5%, 15% and 17.5% SDS-PAGE gel as described by Laemmli. This protein marker should be used for molecular weight estimation at an accuracy of 95%. For precise molecular weight determination use an unstained molecular weight marker.
