Mouse monoclonal antibody raised against Adeno-associated Virus (AAV), VP1, VP2 and VP3.
Immunogen:
Adeno-associated virus capsid proteins and virus particles.
Host:
Mouse
Reactivity:
Viruses
Specificity:
Reacts with free VP1, VP2 and VP3 of adeno-associated virus and at a very reduced degree with assembled capsids. VP1 and VP2 are highly enriched in the nucleus, while non-assembled VP3 is evenly distributed in the nucleus and the cytoplasm. Epitope identified a.a. 726-733 (C-terminus; common to all 3 VP proteins) as the specific binding region. This antibody is also useful for characterization of different stages of infection. AAV-2 found in human and monkey.
Form:
Lyophilized
Purification:
Protein A Chromatography
Isotype:
IgG1
Recommend Usage:
Affinity ChromatographyImmunofluorescenceImmunohistochemistry (1:10)Immunoprecipitation (Mainly Free VP Proteins)Western BlotThe optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
Storage Buffer:
Lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.4.
Storage Instruction:
Store at 4°C on dry atmosphere for short term. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. After reconstitution with 1 mL of phosphate buffered saline, store at - 20°C.Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Centrifuge before opening to ensure complete recovery of vial contents.
