Apyrase (recombinant, E. coli) is ahighly active ATP-diphosphohydrolase that catalysesthe sequential hydrolysis of ATP to ADP and ADPto AMP releasing inorganic phosphate. It is arecombinant version of one of several isoforms ofapyrase. It can also hydrolyse 5´ tri- and diphosphateribonucleosides and deoxyribonucleosides totheir respective 5´ monophosphates (1). Apyrasecan catalyse the conversion of 5´ triphosphorylatedRNA to 5´ monophosphorylated RNA bysequential removal of γ and β phosphates (2).
Product Source
