1-Oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanol (18:1 LysoPEth), aka lysophosphatidylethanol, is a lysophospholipid formed by PLA2 hydrolysis of the ethanol biomarker, phosphatidylethanol (PEth). Many bioactive lysophospholipid compounds exhibit pleiomorphic effects on numerous cell lineages including ovarian cancer cells as described in many publications.
