Biotin-Phosphatidylethanolamine is a biotinylated analog of phosphatidylethanolamine. Phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) is formed primarily in the reaction of CDP-ethanolamine and diacylglycerol. PE is one of the major components of cell membranes in bacteria and in nervous system.
