      Introduction

      Millipore"s3μmQCM™EndothelialCellMigrationAssay–Fibronectin,FluorometricprovidesaquickandefficientsystemtostudytheABIlityofcompoundstoinduceorinhibitendothelialcellmigration.Thisassayalsoallowsscreeningofpharmacologicalagents,evaluationofintegrinsorotheradhesionreceptorsresponsIBLeforendothelialcellmigration,analysisofgenefunctionintransfectedcells,anddeterminationofECMproteininvolvementincellmovement.

      Thisversatileassaypermitscountingofindividualmigratorycells,and,moreimportantly,allowsquantitativeanalysisbyopticaldensity(OD)usingastandardmicroplatereader.Thisconvenientassayallowslargescalescreeningandquantitativecomparisonofmultiplesamplesandincludesindividualmigrationcontrolsforeachsample.
