DODMA
1,2-dioleyloxy-3-dimethylaminopropane
Cationic lipids such as DODMA are considered non-viral carriers for gene therapy. DODMA is used for the preparation of cationic liposomes or lipid nanoparticles (LNP) needing a neutral or low zeta potential. DODMA is extremely effective at encapsulating nucleic acids due to its ability to temporarily reduce pH.
