Biological Activity

PKR inhibitor (IC₅₀ = 210 nM). Rescues PKR-dependent translation block in vitro. Decreases Aβ42-induced inflammatory cytokine release and apoptosis in neuronal cultures. Prevents neuroinflammation and neuronal loss in an acute excitotoxic rat model. Brain penetrant.
