Biological Activity

Potent N-type voltage-gated calcium channel blocker (IC₅₀ = 36 nM). Displays selectivity over K⁺, Na⁺ and L-type Ca²⁺ channels. Prevents tonic seizures in the audiogenic seizure model in vivo.
