Potent and selective irreversible PPARγ antagonist (IC50 = 1 nM). Displays > 800-fold selectivity for PPARγ over PPARα and PPARδ. Blocks transcriptional activity of PPARγin vitro and inhibits rosiglitazone-induced adipogenesis.
