Amphotericin B is one of the earliest compounds designed to killfungi. It was developed to help treat fungal infectionsintravenously. It has since been found to help eliminate fungalcontamination in cell cultures as well. Low doses (0.5 to 2.0ug/mL) are recommended as it is toxic to other eukaryotic cellsat higher concentrations.
Final concentration of Amphotericin B is undiluted, 250ug/mL.
